Budding Superstars 

 

Watch students in action showcasing their supply chain and presentation skills.

Douglas college team was selected from over 200 teams to proceed to round 2 of the APICS international student case competition in collaboration with Deloitte.

During this event, the team will present the case they were tasked with, discuss the creative ideas they came up with and also take us through the competition journey.

 

WIIFM (What’s in it for me)?

Students – Great opportunity to learn from your peers about their journey through this      competition. Who knows, next year it might be you!

 OUR PRESENTERS:

Samanta Yang – Team Leader

Black Belt professional and Master Degree in Industrial Engineering with more than 7 years of continuous improvement and supply chain project management work experience for multinational companies. Currently Sr. CI Specialist for Saputo Inc. where she is responsible for the implementation and deployment of the corporate CI program in the factories and distribution centers of Canada’s West Coast.  

Karina Quijada

Karina Quijada is an international supply chain management Post-Baccalaureate student who has 5 years of work experience in the oil and gas service industry. She worked as a General Field Engineer for Schlumberger where she successfully introduced the new Streamline Wireline Technology into the Venezuelan market. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Simon Bolivar University.

Arshpreet (Arsh) Gill

Arsh is a dedicated, quality driven individual with work experience in fields of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and customer sales. He has studied Business, International Business and Supply Chain Management in his home city (New Delhi) and in Canada (Ontario & British Columbia) respectively.
