The Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model is widely recognized as the global standard for supply chain management. The SCOR model enables users to address, improve and communicate supply chain management practices.

SCOR-P Endorsement -The SCOR Professional (SCOR-P) endorsement programestablishes a global standard of excellence for applying SCOR.The endorsement provides a practical method for assessingthe skills and competencies of your personnel and recruits, anda method for evaluating the effectiveness of training. 


What will participants learn?

Supply chain practices –Process maturity is examined and class participants are trained on how to asses supply chain activities and apply best practices.
Supply chain people skills –The SCOR model offers insight on organizational design and the people skills and competencies required for successful supply chain operation.
The class will investigate a SCOR project case study.
Participants receive a copy of the SCOR model, a SCOR Quick Reference Guide and a SCOR Professional Training Participant Workbook.

APICS’s unrivaled SCOR framework enables timely, well-informed decisions to advance a global supply chain. It was founded as a supply chain improvement methodology using process analysis, performance metrics, and best practices to identify performance gaps, guide organizational change management, and provide the analysis needed to drive improvement programs to achieve increased levels of supply chain performance.

Upon completion of the one-day seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Explore goals and application of the SCOR Reference Model framework
  • Understand the structure of the SCOR Reference Model framework sourcebooks
  • Work with the five central processes of the SCOR framework: plan, source, make, deliver and return processes
  • Summarize a SCOR improvement program

He has served a range of small to large-sized enterprises, including Novatis Alcon, BASF, Boto, Carlsberg, ComputerShare, Edgewell, Ericsson, Henderson Land Development – Special Project division, Up-today, Philips LCD, The Well Leatherware, NextMedia, SaSa Cosmetic, SEB Asia, Swarovski, Sydney Trains, Wong’s electronics, Vitasoy and etc. A mix of his strong soft skills and technical knowledge in delivering the project is one of the critical success factors in achieving tangible and measurable result for the enterprises. In addition, he is integrating a variety of methodologies in change process for people, system and technology. He is specialized in the scientific approaches of classification, correlation and cause-and-effect, which can help people to think more logically in understanding the core problem. Hence, working out solution for real core problem, a desirable situation in any enterprise, instead of fixing symptoms again and again can be achieved. He can make use of a combination of knowledge and skills in different stages of project to put the undesirable situation into desirable situation with measurable result.
