This 1-day fast-paced workshop surveys best operational practices and challenges participants to take new thinking back to their own organizations.  Introduction to the new industry standard SCOR supply chain models is included. Topics covered include: Sourcing (procurement), Planning (forecasting), S+OP, ERP (MRP), Inventory Management and Logistics.


This introductory 1- day class provides an insider's view of supply chain management. It offers fundamental knowledge of the functions of Supply Chain Management (SCM), and is designed to quickly and effectively educate team members who interact with or support supply chain activities. This training helps to increase efficiency and generate ideas for improvements, while providing an excellent opportunity to bring together cross-functional teams to learn what it takes to build world-class supply chains. 


This APICS program is made up of five courses designed to help new entrants to the field of operations management establish the foundational knowledge necessary to excel in the areas of production and distribution management. The principles taught offer organizations an efficient and effective approach to educate and develop professionals on the basics of operations management.
