Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has had a profound impact on our local supply chains for many different critical products. The pandemic has created major changes in freight flows, as well as unexpected demand variations and has challenged the ability to deliver products to companies and consumers within the needed time frame. This has perhaps most acutely become an issue for both medical supplies and food delivery. Temporary shortages of toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and protective gear have been one of the most popular discussion topics in the past weeks. The presenters will tell their stories and lesson learned during the past months.
